  Until Spooky's recent release, I would've said: when was the last time you saw a rated "R" pin? Saw is way too bloody for mass appeal. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if a homebrewer was working on the title. There's quite a wide spread of projects these days.   Star trek 2009 wasn't 40 years old. I don't see Stern doing John Wick... too adult for them with excessive violence. They seem to like more family friendly titles unless it's Playboy.   I think you have it backwards Skip... The button type is the hard one to find. The slot type which I guess is what you mean by fin is the same as data East bars although of course de bars aren't silver. Early Data East are fin type which has been confirmed to interchange on Stern classic and are stainless, no paint. Laser War, Torpedo Alley, Playboy 35th, Time Machine.

  For a classic stern lockdown bar receiver. It doesn't look like any parts can be disassembled minus the spring. How do you guys hammer spray paint it? Just cover the whole thing? And one coat?   I just had a customer Stern playboy. He bought a led.bulb that was plug and play onto speak. He had a bad ballast . Fortunately it blew the line fuse before damaging transformer. Going forward I will always use bypass ballast led tubes and run the circuit from the bill acceptor 120 vac not the secondary of the transformer.
